To have Faith means to believe in something you can not see. Well, I can not see what the future will hold for my Kindergarten Stars, but I can have Faith and trust that God will give me the skills and love to start shaping each and every little life I touch in my Kindergarten classroom.
This fun little Thanksgiving mini-unit works on ordering numbers, greater than and less than. We are a Title One school and use MTSS in our building. (Which really helps our students.) :0) There are times each day that I need to challenge my high students, so I have included in this mini-unit different sets of numbers for students at different levels. This way they can all be working on the same thing, but they can still be working at their own level.
I always like to include literature in everything I do, and there are so many wonderful Thanksgiving books to read this time of year. One that makes my students laugh is Run Turkey Run, by Diane Mayr. I am sure your kids will laugh too. Happy Turkey hunting! :)
You can find this great little mini-unit, Turkey Trot, on TPT.
I also linked this book up with the November Book of the Month linky party hosted by 123 Teach With Me.
